There was a neat tidbit on Dosh Dosh today about creating mini funnel websites to drive high quality web traffic. It's basically just a Search Engine Optimization strategy.

The example they gave boils down to this:

1. People search "Is Barack Obama Muslim" on Google.
2. Because the domain is "www.isbarackobamamuslim.com", this funnel site is the top hit.
3. The content on the site links traffic to a number of websites, including a page on Barack Obama's website that goes into more detail on the topic.

Because the landing page on Obama's site specifically satisfies the visitor's questions, he or she is going to be a happy customer.

And, of course, the funnel pages provide valuable back links to Obama's main site.
